ABOUT US

The Inter­branch Addi­tion­al Edu­ca­tion Insti­tute (IAEI) is a struc­tur­al sub­di­vi­sion of the Fed­er­al State bud­getary edu­ca­tion­al insti­tu­tion of high­er pro­fes­sion­al edu­ca­tion “St. Peters­burg State Forestry Uni­ver­si­ty named after S.M. Kirov “(fur­ther SPbSFU).

The IAEI main activ­i­ties are:

• train­ing of stu­dents and stu­dents on direc­tions and spe­cial­ties, which are licensed and accred­it­ed in SPbSFU;
• ren­der­ing ser­vices in addi­tion­al pro­fes­sion­al edu­ca­tion, imple­ment­ing addi­tion­al sci­en­tif­ic and edu­ca­tion­al pro­grams, includ­ing the devel­op­ment of spe­cial­ists’ skills, intern­ships, pro­fes­sion­al retraining;
• pro­fes­sion­al retrain­ing of spe­cial­ists with­out spe­cial­ized high­er or sec­ondary voca­tion­al edu­ca­tion among the released work­ers, unem­ployed pop­u­la­tion and unem­ployed cit­i­zens, their train­ing for new labor functions;
• ren­der­ing addi­tion­al edu­ca­tion­al services;
• ren­der­ing paid legal and oth­er con­sult­ing ser­vices to state and munic­i­pal author­i­ties, pub­lic asso­ci­a­tions, enter­pris­es, insti­tu­tions and oth­er orga­ni­za­tions and citizens;
• orga­niz­ing and hold­ing edu­ca­tion­al and sci­en­tif­ic sem­i­nars, con­fer­ences, con­gress­es, sym­po­siums on prob­lem­at­ic issues in indus­try, region, enter­prise, orga­ni­za­tion; pro­mot­ing advanced sci­en­tif­ic and tech­ni­cal developments;
• con­duct­ing sci­en­tif­ic and method­olog­i­cal devel­op­ments in addi­tion­al education;

The main areas of IAEI activ­i­ties are to ren­der ser­vices in addi­tion­al voca­tion­al edu­ca­tion  includ­ing pre-uni­ver­si­ty and post-grad­u­ate pro­grams, licensed and accred­it­ed sup­ple­men­tary train­ing pro­grams, as well as car­ry­ing out entre­pre­neur­ial activities.
