CENTRE OF THE SPANISH LANGUAGE AND CULTURE OF SPANISH-SPEAKING COUNTRIES
Center of Spanish Language and Culture of Spanish-speaking countries “Panhispanika” at St. Petersburg State Forestry University was established on October, 22, 2021. During a year before preparatory work was carried out for the opening of the Center: lectures on the culture and history of Spain, meetings with representatives of Spanish-speaking countries were held. A big event was the visit of Consul General of Spain in Saint-Petersburg Felix Valdes.
The purpose of the Center is to promote the Spanish language and culture of Spanish-speaking countries at our university, as well as to foster tolerance and promote the social development of Russian and foreign students.
As part of the realization of its goals, the Center plans to hold events aimed at the adaptation and integration of foreign students, the formation of a positive image of our university at the international level, acquaintance with the language and culture of Spanish-speaking countries. A number of lectures and thematic meetings will be devoted to the Spanish language, Latin American countries, Spanish regions, gastronomy, tourism and much more.
