The dor­mi­to­ries are locat­ed with­in 15 min. walk dis­tance from the Lesnaya Metro Sta­tion and the Muzh­est­va Square. It is the area with well-devel­oped infra­struc­ture. It takes only 5 min­utes to reach the State For­est Tech­ni­cal Uni­ver­si­ty. There are pub­lic trans­port stops, gro­cery stores nearby.

There is a clean and guard­ed ter­ri­to­ry around the dor­mi­to­ries, good access roads and pedes­tri­an paths, indi­vid­ual trans­port park­ing lots.  Every room is equipped with a high-speed Inter­net. The show­er is on the ground floor of the dor­mi­to­ries. It is allowed to install a TV, refrig­er­a­tor, per­son­al com­put­er in every room.  A stu­dent can make the ren­o­va­tion of a room (if nec­es­sary) at his/her will and dis­cre­tion (the dor­mi­to­ry admin­is­tra­tion pro­vides all the nec­es­sary assis­tance includ­ing an expe­ri­enced car­pen­ter and an elec­tri­cian). The clean­ing ser­vices are done dai­ly. There are well-equipped female and male gym­na­si­ums, which are absolute­ly free to vis­it. Wash­ing machines are locat­ed on the first floor. On the sec­ond floor there is an Assem­bly Hall and a ten­nis room. Also, there is a spe­cial­ly equipped room  for  studies.

Qual­i­fied, decent, sym­pa­thet­ic staff of the dor­mi­to­ries is always ready to help in dif­fi­cult sit­u­a­tions. The prob­lem of theft, alco­holism, drug addic­tion and crime is absent. The admin­is­tra­tion of the dor­mi­to­ries con­stant­ly main­tains direct tele­phone com­mu­ni­ca­tion with par­ents of the stu­dents, so it is pos­si­ble to come to know detailed infor­ma­tion about a stu­dent in a mat­ter of minutes.

There are 4 dwelling units con­sist­ing of 5 — 6 rooms on each of the 15 floors. Each unit has a wash­room with 3 wash­basins and 2 toi­let booths.

There is a kitchen for two dwelling units with a gas stove, 2 tables, 1 sink. All stu­dents can use Bosh and Sam­sung (auto­mat­ic) wash­ing machines on the ground floor. There is a car park­ing in the courtyard.

The stu­dents can vis­it a gym in their free time. It is locat­ed on the 2^nd floor, or they can play table ten­nis on the 1st and 15th floors. There is a piano for music lovers.

In addi­tion, there is a fight­ing and box­ing hall with a sep­a­rate entrance from out­side of the dor­mi­to­ry. The stu­dents are trained com­bat sam­bo (form of wrestling), sam­bo (for maid­ens and youths), box­ing free of charge.

There is a good tra­di­tion to cel­e­brate hol­i­days: the New Year, 8^th of March, the St. Valen­tine’s Day, etc. The stu­dents orga­nize their hol­i­days, in which both the admin­is­tra­tion and res­i­dents take part.  The per­son cel­e­brat­ing his/her name day is not for­got­ten either.  The lists of the stu­dents, who have a birth­day this month, are updat­ed month­ly on the Adver­tise­ment Board.

The Stu­dent Coun­cil has a meet­ing every month. The stu­dents of all years of study are rep­re­sent­ed there. The admin­is­tra­tion and stu­dents dis­cuss all the press­ing issues, thus resolv­ing any dis­agree­ments as quick­ly and just­ly as possible.
