Forest mechanical faculty

The Forest Mechanical Faculty was established in 1955. It trains highly qualified specialists in design, operation and maintenance of machines and equipment not only for forest complex enterprises, but also for other branches of the country’s economy as well.

The faculty has specialized laboratories, training computer classes and 3D simulators imitating operation of forest logging harvester.

In the process of training soon-to-become engineers acquire practical skills useful for their future professions. The most successful students have practical training in Sweden.

Fields of training

15.03.02 TECHNOLOGICAL MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT

Professional activity of the graduates is related with machine building production, its technological equipment, tools and automation. Their activity covers design of technological equipment, development and adoption of new technologies, information, metrology, diagnostic support of technological systems, standardization and certification, and quality control support for mechanic engineering.

23.03.03 EXPLOITATION OF TRANSPORT TECHNOLOGICAL MACHINES AND COMPLEXES

The graduates work in various companies and dealer centers, saloons, shops selling engines, spares, operation materials; design and scientific centers; organizations of operation conditions control.

20.03.01 TECHNOSPHERE SAFETY

Sphere of professional activity of graduates includes creation of the safe and comfortable conditions of human life and activities; protection systems and methods against negative influence of various nature; regulations of danger and anthropogenic influence on the environment.

The graduates work in safety engineering, scientific research and design offices, provide technical expertise of production development, protective and life-saving technique control; marketing.

13.03.01 HEAT ENGINEERING AND THERMAL ENGINEERING
