ESN SFTU
Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is the largest volunteer student organisation in the world. ESN’s mission is to create a more flexible and mobile educational environment by supporting student exchange programs.
ESN SFTU works in the interests of State Forest Technical St. Petersburg University and aims to improve the conditions for their social and cultural adaptation in St. Petersburg and St. Petersburg State Technical University.
ABOUT US
We are the first Russian ESN candidate section founded in 2014 with a mission to help students, international (incoming) and outgoing to adjust to their life in Saint Petersburg while staying here and after coming back from exchange program, in academical, professional, social and practical sense.
Therefore, we organising different social and cultural events such as language clubs, parties, international food fests, excursions, trips, cinema nigths, etc. Everything that will make life of our new friends and colleagues much funnier and easier.
In addition we are interested in developing scientific exchanges in the forest sciences area. We are planning to organise forest related exchage programs and conferences.
Furthermore we are social minded, we organise donor days, volunteer events.
Except dealing with international students, we also work for a benefit of our students by providing them useful information about Erasmus+ program and other echange programs, motivating them to go study abroad, organizing parties, giving them a chance to become a volunteer and to get involved more in the academical surrounding of the Saint Petersburg.
