On the basis of the Botanical garden, classes are held in accordance with the curriculum for full-time, correspondence students, students who study on intensive programs as well as qualification improvement courses: practical and laboratory classes in botany, dendrology, entomology, selection, floriculture, ornamental dendrology, ornamental horticulture; training practices in botany, dendrology, soil science, taxation, phytopathology, entomology, geodesy, floriculture, decorative dendrology, garden and park construction; the first and the second production, pre-diploma and familiarization practices. Practical and laboratory studies in botany, dendrology, physiology and anatomy are provided with plant material (shoots, fruits and seeds). Collecting herbaria of herbaceous and woody plants; collecting practical material for diploma works on biological topics, as well as observations, experiments, etc. are carried out in the Botanical garden.
Every year, dozens of diploma projects are defended on the basis of the Botanical garden.
Material for master’s works, dissertations, scientific publications is collected in the Botanical garden.
